Cooking school Our Cooking school is an enjoyable experience which prepares you to maintain your new healthy lifestyle when you return home again and it is an integral part of your healthy lifestyle change. Our cooking instructor will demonstrate how to prepare delicious and healthy meals, which both you and your family will enjoy. There will also be opportunity for you to learn how to make some of the recipes, and you will be able to sample all of them. You will be provided with a complimentary cookbook which you will use during the program and then take home with you. Participation in the cooking school will give you the confidence to be able to prepare healthy meals.
Counseling Depression, Stress and Anxiety are very prevalent today and affect many of the people who spend time with us. We believe that what affects the body directly affects the mind and what affects the mind also affects the physical health. Therefore, along with the physical treatment offered to our guests, we also offer one-on-one counseling. Our counselors offer compassionate counsel to individuals who need guidance through many of life’s common struggles. They will listen to your situation and help you to understand things better and walk patiently with you as you make progress in learning new ways of living your life.

Many of the topics offer explanations of how the different therapies prescribed for you actually work, and how you can continue with them successfully once you return home. At the end of your stay, you will receive a certificate for having completed the program and also a CD that includes all the lecture materials, information from other lectures, menu plans, recipes from the program, and an interesting history of the Lifestyle Center.
Stretching is important for people of all ages. These classes are conducted in a friendly casual environment. Stretching helps to increase your range of motion and increases flexibility. Blood flow is stimulated, circulation improved and stretching facilitates proper body alignment. Simple stretching also eases tension and stress and you will usually feel noticeably better afterwards.
