Autoimmune Recovery Workshop
If your body feels like it’s fighting itself — this weekend is for you.
Lupus. Rheumatoid arthritis. Hashimoto’s. Multiple sclerosis. Psoriasis. If you live with an autoimmune condition, you know the exhaustion that sleep doesn’t fix, the flares that arrive without warning, and the quiet ache of a body that won’t cooperate. And if you’re the spouse, parent, or child of someone walking that road, you know the helplessness of watching someone you love struggle — and wanting to help, but not knowing how.
The Autoimmune Recovery Workshop is three days of hope, practical help, and community. Join Dr. Joyce Choe, MD MPH — a physician bridging conventional medicine and holistic health — and Mercy Ballard, RN, Director of Years Restored Lifestyle Center, as they share a faith-based, science-based, plant-based approach to gut health and inflammation: the everyday food and lifestyle choices that support the immune system, energy, and overall well-being.
Three days, two locations:
- Friday, Nov 13 · Better Living Center, Wildwood, GA — 7:00 PM: “My Journey, Trusting God Through Health Crisis” (Mercy Ballard, RN)
- Saturday, Nov 14 · Living Hope SDA Church, Chattanooga, TN — 11:00 AM: “Plant Based or Paleo: Choosing the Right Paradigm” (Dr. Choe) · 1:00 PM: Potluck at the church — bring a dish to share, with autoimmune-friendly dishes provided for those who want to try them · 3:00 PM: “How to Eat for Autoimmunity” (Dr. Choe) · 4:00 PM: “Natural Remedies” (Mercy Ballard, RN)
- Sunday, Nov 15 · Better Living Center, Wildwood, GA — 10:00 AM: “The Powerful Health Benefits of Soaking and Sprouting” (Dr. Choe) · 11:30 AM: Cooking demos (Mercy Ballard, RN) — samples to taste
November 13–15, 2026. Attendance is free, made possible by donors who believe this knowledge should reach everyone who needs it.
